Who: Everyone!
When: August 6th - 27th
Where: Vermilion, Saffron & Goldenrod Cities
What: It's time to track down some thieves.
OOC Info: here!
The atmosphere is tense and busy in the various hubs set up to track down the thieves. The Jennys still greet everyone cheerfully and show them to the information boards, though it's clear they're stressed. The boards are scant for now, but maybe with a little help they'll be filling up. The Jennys are more than happy to explain any evidence they do have.
There are desks for research, as well as seating areas for group discussion. There's also a refreshment station at each location. They're pretty basic, but the coffee and snacks are both plentiful and free to anyone here to help out.

It's August and summer is in full swing! For many it's a time for fun and relaxation. Sadly this is not the case for the Jennys, or a number of other trainers. There has been an uptick in Pokémon thefts that appear to be related and the Jennys are concerned the thieves are only growing in confidence.

[This Journal entry seems written with something of a nervous script. After a few ink blots of hesitation the words begin-]
Ah, if you would pardon this intrusion. I know that ...many of us have spoke of gathering together to practice or discuss music. I- [You can do it Mayoi. Do the thing. Organize the social gathering.]
I would like to formally organize such a gathering! We can hold it perhaps at the shrine, or where ever is most comfortable for several people! I can gather together refreshments and "Jam" as we've talked about before.
If anyone is still interested of course...!

[so, somebody slept well through the fammeet and any other interesting events of the past few days. anyone with a bracelet connection to them (so, like, ain, and maybe wolfwood if the bracelets work in extended... groups... yerp) will have noticed razlo now just as conked out as livio. their sleep is deep, but painful -- nothing out of the ordinary for them, though. they just need rest.
when livio finally can open his eyes without wincing in the sun... he takes a while to mull something over before showing his face in the grove again. and eventually, his handwriting begins, a stark, clean contrast from razlo's all-caps chickenscratch, in the netbooks.]
This is Livio. First off, I'm sorry if I worried anyone over the past [there's a long pause before he continues:] while. If Razlo said or did anything upsetting to you, let me know how to make it up to you.
The main reason I wanted to apologize is that I kept something from all of you. The school office has some filing cabinets that contain records of some of our past lives, probably just school staff and students. I have not read anything in detail about anyone, just enough to realize what exactly I was looking at, at which point I stopped. I didn't want to snoop, and I didn't want to know about myself. I kept the cabinets locked and didn't mention it before because I was worried that other people would spiral over it, too, or intrude on other residents who didn't want their pasts to come to light, or that somehow the forest would use it against us, or
[he doesn't finish that line of thought, because his own anxieties would go on forever, so he just moves on.]
I just worried. A lot, for a long time. But it was wrong of me to keep it from everyone. If you want to look for any records of yours, your family's, your friends, I'll leave the keys in the office. I still don't know if this is the right decision, but it should never have been mine to make alone.

Also, I'm sorry for being so long winded. This probably could have been a lot shorter. And less pitiful sounding.

[Video] - New Business
[The video opens outside a building in Goldenrod City. There's a sign out front - Starly Hotel. Sitting on the sign are two Starly, both of them wearing very small bow ties. Because what else would people or Pokemon wear to their place of work?
Finally Quatre shifts the camera back around to himself. He too was dressed nicely even though he did that on a normal basis]
I wanted to welcome everyone to the Starly Hotel. We have just recently opened. I hope that this will be a place where people can rest from their travels and spend time with their Pokemon.
And our Starly ambassadors will be happy to help you feel more at home.
[The pair of Starly chirped happily, definitely enjoying the work and also being included in this broadcast. There were more than two, but he was only including two because otherwise it would be too many.
An eagle-eyed viewer might notice the Staravia perched on the roof. A sentry for the hotel]
We are currently having an open house for anyone wishes to come and see the property. We look forward to welcoming you.
